Hello, Bonjour, Hola! My name is Zoey Olivia. A Londoner (Hertfordshire born & bread) with a love for travel, lifestyle, fashion, health, motherhood, food and beauty. A bit of everything really!
I’m super passionate about raising awareness for Endometriosis after being diagnosed in January 2015, you’ll find lots of content on my blog of my experience with the condition.
I’ve built a career in Marketing, with over ten years experience. I previously worked as a Digital Graphic Designer specialising in designing and coding emails. Working at big retail brands – the likes of Cath Kidston and Mothercare.
Before working with retail brands, I worked in the beauty industry for a few years designing and also planning, writing and creating designs for beauty brands on Social Media in the very early days before there were dedicated Social Media Managers and teams.
A few years later, I made a careful decision to switch careers from Design to focus solely on Social Media Marketing working as a Digital Campaign Manager focusing on Paid Social for Citroen Retailers.
In my spare time I write quite honestly and very openly about life and health experiences, honest beauty, hotel, spa and restaurant reviews. You’ll also find me documenting my adventures around the world.
I’ve been blogging for over eleven years on Zoey Olivia. I’ve actually been blogging much much longer, however I deleted those blogs.
Does anyone remember the piczo or live-journal days? I started writing and documenting my life around aged fifteen. Which is twenty years ago now. It blows my mind how long I’ve been in the blogging community sometimes…
Anyway, I’ve been really really fortunate to work with some incredible beauty brands on my blog. Antipodes, Vegamour, Green People and UpCircle to name a few.
Beside work life, I often daydream and spend a lot of time drinking tea. I live with my husband Joe whom I have been with for just over fifteen years and married nine. We are super happy in our little bubble, and we have a dog named Archie, a miniature dapple dachshund as well as a little baby girl named Alessia.
I love cosy wooly jumpers, autumn, afternoon tea, winged eyeliner and Tatty Devine jewellery. These things make me incredibly happy inside. I also have a huge love for travelling, especially around Asia and Canada.
