If you’re an OG reader, you may know I suffered with hair loss a few years ago.
Over the years, it’s grown back thicker and strangely enough, curlier! It’s funny how hair can change!
Any who, Vegamour kindly reached out to me to see if I wanted to trial some of their new products. Specifically their HYDR-8 collection for dry, damaged and brittle hair.
A little disclaimer for I dive in, I’m not a skin-care or health expert, but I do research a lot of beauty products and did work in the beauty industry for a few years. I feel honesty is the best policy when it comes to my reviews and working with brands.
Vegamour are a brand who promise 100% clean vegan ingredients. They have a holistic approach to hair wellness that incorporates clinically tested plant-based ingredients that work in tandem to promote healthy, beautiful hair naturally, without the use of harmful chemicals or short-term ‘fixes’ that can lead to long-term problems.
I’ve been trialing the HYDR-8 collection for around four-six weeks and I wanted to give my honest thoughts, as always.
Firstly, the packaging is very classy and beautiful. Gold and pink, what’s not to love? Interestingly you turn the gold lid at the bottom and squeeze, and the shampoo and conditioner come out of a tiny holes at the bottom. very unique packaging!

The smell of the products are lovely! They have been formulated with Karmatin™, Marula Oil & Moringa Seed Oil, Murumuru Seed Butter, Magnolia-Bark Extract and Aloe Vera.
I wash twice with the shampoo, leave the conditioner in for two minutes then put the hair mask on for five to ten minutes. Then dry with my dyson air-wrap.
If you know me personally, I’ve always found washing my hair can be a bit of a chore for me, hence why I only wash twice a week. But this set made washing my hair really enjoyable. I honestly felt a bit like a goddess rubbing these products into my hair. The ingredients and smell was so so heavenly.
On first impressions and just after one use, I did notice less-frizz, smoother locks and my hair felt a lot stronger. After using it religiously (twice a week), I noticed my hair felt and looked stronger over-all. It looked super healthy! My hair-dresser even complimented on my hair and said it looked ‘lush’.
I’m going to feel really sad when this collections runs out, I think I have maybe 1 or 2 washes left that I can squeeze out of them.
I can definitely say these products are worth the hype! As I have curly/wavy hair, I can only really recommend for those with similar hair-types as me. But it wouldn’t surprise me if they worked on all hair-types.

If your hair is in need of deep deep repair, or you want to tame your frizz and you want smoother, sleeker hair, then these products are for you! Click here to have a little nosey.
I would have loved to trialed the GRO collection for when I was suffering from hair loss. But luckily taking Biotin and other hair supplements really did the trick for me. Let’s hope I don’t go through hair loss again!

Theses products look so good ! I would love to give it a try.
I love your curls.
