An Afternoon At Sketch

It’s been a LONG time since I last dined at Sketch. They’ve mixed things up, the room is now a subtle yellow interior designed room with different art-work.

Personally I really loved David Shrigley’s art work in the ‘pink velvet/The Gallery’ room (what it once was). But I do love the yellow touches too.

They still have the space-like egg toilets though, which are rather fun.

Any who, I wanted to write an honest review of my time there.

I had such an amazing experience last time, and I had an even more amazing time for my birthday this time round.

We had vegetarian afternoon tea, this wasn’t an option last time, so I’m so pleased they have several options to chose from, including vegan, nut-free and pescatarian.

The little details, such as the extra Victoria sponge cake and ‘Happy birthday Zoey’ plate was really lovely. As well as having a glass of champers in a vintage-like glass – but the way the waiter poured it, made it so special.

The service is outstanding too, the greeting when you first walk in, to the impeccable service in the Gallery room and when they wish you a lovely day on your way out just boosts your mood.

I wish I could experience it all over again, but it really is for special occasions or if you’re visiting London from a far. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend! Would love to go back and eat lunch in their other room. 10 out of 10.
