Drunk Elephant The Night Is Young Kit Review

Finally, FINALLY… getting round to reviewing this Drunk Elephant kit, which I purchased back in December last year. It’s been a long time coming…

If I remember correctly, I purchased this kit in the Boots or Space NK Boxing Day Sales, so I got it for a really good price. I’m pretty sure it was around £28. Bargain!

I’ve been using products from this kit every couple of days. I’m using Sunday Riley mainly. But any who… here are my thoughts on Drunk Elephant and this set.

With its Instagram friendly packaging and cleaner ingredients, Drunk Elephant has become one of the most popular skincare brands on the market. Personally, I love the brand, there isn’t a bad product I’ve tried, I think their products are really high quality and the packaging is fun. I love the coloured lids – but I’m really into my bright colours anyway. I’ve heard mixed reviews about Drunk Elephant, but all mine have been positive.

What’s included?

You got four items! Pretty decent sizes.

The products in this set feature superfood-rich ingredients that work to diminish the appearance of fine lines, improve skin texture and tone, and minimise the look of pores.

Drunk Elephant The Night Is Young includes everything needed for an evening skincare routine, helping to leave skin looking younger and healthier. These products contain no essential oils, silicones or fragrances and are vegan and cruelty-free.

I personally wouldn’t use all four in one evening, I alternative them. I may use two of them one night if I feel like my skin really needs it.

F-Balm Electrolyte Waterfacial – this one helps to strengthen the skin’s acid mantle while hydrating and plumping the skin. It’s lovely!

T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial – this is my favourite of the bunch. Makes your skin feel and look amazing in the morning!

T.L.C. Framboos™ Glycolic Night Serum – It has all the exfoliating acids your little heart (and skin) desires in a lightweight formula that layers well with anything. What else could you ask for?

A-Passioni Retinol Cream – As we get older, we do need a trusty retinol in our lives. This one is fantastic!

Overall Thoughts

The great thing about all of these products are they are suitable to all skin types. I have dry-combination skin and they do wonders for me.
If I was to pick one or two products from this kit, it would have to be the Babyfacial and Glycolic Night Serum.

I’d also say I got this for an absolute bargs. It was 110% worth the money. I will definitely be re-purchasing full-sizes.

My only comparison is Sunday Riley at the moment, and I think I prefer Sunday Riley to Drunk Elephant. But their products do different things, so maybe not the fairest comparison. That being said, alternating between those two brands has made my skin look and feel the best it’s ever looked. So I think I’m finally sticking to this routine. At least for a while!

Drunk Elephant products always catch my eye, but I tend to skip them due to the price, so getting a set of products for a reasonable price is always nice! I need to keep my eyes out for a set like this here. 🙂

I love all of these products apart from the TLC Serum – I don’t hate it, but prefer others. A-Passioni is my favourite retinol product! x

I am yet to try Drunk Elephant, but I definitely want to! You really did get such a great bargain, I am for minis-size kits before investing in a brand’s full-size products. Great review Zoey xx

I know right! I’m the same these days, rather buy mini’s before purchasing the full-size, especially when they are expensive. Thanks lovely. xx
