Joe and I have been to Champneys Tring before and we wanted to try another one of their locations, Forest Mere.
So, today I wanted to give a honest review of our stay there.
The room was a bit out-dated (needs modernising) and we got two single beds instead of a double which was a bit disappointing considering we paid quite a bit of money to stay there.
The spa and the cosy rooms were lovely though! Super relaxing and not over-crowded like Tring was when we went.
They had a jacuzzi, ice room, steam room, rainfall showers with rainforest themes, cosy rooms where you could relax, sleep or read a book, water beds, a rather large swimming pool, sauna and outdoor pool and jacuzzi. Also included exercise classes and use of the gym. We utilised everything, and did aqua zumba at 7am!

The food was not too shabby too. We got dinner on the eve, and breakfast and lunch the following day. Being veggie was not a problem although, it was quite a limited menu! Healthy options which was great.
The location itself was lovely, a really nice serene area. Overlooking a lake.
If I’m being honest, I don’t know if I would stay again, I’d definitely do a spa day again, most likely at Tring as it’s the closest one to me in Hertfordshire, but hopefully when it’s not over-crowded again! If I were to stay at Forest Mere again, I’d probably stay in one of the Shepherds Hut’s as they looked cute and cosy.
I’ve never stayed in a Champneys but you can’t beat a spa break! x

Deffo. Love a spa break. xx
I’m so sorry to read that you had over-crowded experience because when I’m going in spa I also like to relax and enjoy.

Yes, it’s all about relaxation for me as well. Maybe I need to find another spa to go to, plus Champneys is really expensive. xx
