Apologies that my thoughts on the news are a week or so late. It’s heartbreaking what is going on in the world at the moment. I feel guilty feeling a bit helpless.
War is not the answer. My heart goes out to all the Ukrainians. My husband and I have donated to The British Red Cross and his work has tripled the donation, which is fantastic.
I just had to address how I’m feeling about what’s going on in the world, before I get started on this blog post.
Any who, The BEST face-masks in 2022 and beyond!
Origins Drink Up Intensive Face Mask – This is perfect for super dry skin like mine, just pop it on over-night and your skin will love you in the morning. It’s infused with glacier water, hyaluronic acid and avocado butter.
Green People Purifying Face Mask (Gifted) – This face mask is great for congested skin. It’s made with charcoal which deeply cleanses by drawing out toxins out of pores, bentonite clay, alpine willow and oat lipid. Green People kindly gifted me this to try and I blooming love it for when my skin is having a particularly bad day.
Antipodes Halo Skin-Brightening Facial Mud Mask (Gifted) – Antipodes is a fantastic skin-care brand, I adore the honey face mask as well as the skin-brightening facial mud mask. This face-mask is vegan which is great! Designed to purify and brighten!
Farmacy Beauty Honey Potion – If I’m having a particularly spotty day, I’ll whack out this as honey is a great anti-bacterial! A super hydrating honey face mask for a glowing complexion! Infused with powerful antioxidants, this warming mask leaves skin soft, supple and plump with hydration.
Glamglow Super Mud Face Mask – Another fantastic face mask for congested skin! Enriched with a blend of ingredients including glycolic, salicylic and lactic acids, this effective mask works to heal damaged skin and smooth pigmentation, whilst deeply nourishing the complexion.
FRESH Rose Face Mask – I purchased this in the Boxing Day sales and have been loving using it – it smells AMAZING! It leaves my skin feeling hydrated and brighter. An instant hydrating mask with real rose petals suspended in a silky gel that gently soothes and tones with a plumping effect.

Evolve Miracle Mask – This lovely face mask is blended with 100% natural fruit acids including glycolic acid from sugar cane that delivers instantly smoother plumper skin. Peruvian Maca, an ancient energy booster, helps to increase cellular renewal and skin radiance and reduces the appearance of ageing whilst Papaya acts as a natural exfoliator. A brilliant one to have in your beauty stash.
LUSH Beauty Sleep Face Mask – If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you’ll know that I adore LUSH’s Beauty Sleep face mask – a mini review of it here! A great one to use at night, right before bed! It’s made with a combination of lavender and neroli, which is so soothing. I also noticed a significant improvement in my stress levels within minutes every time I use it.
UpCircle Beauty Clay Face Mask (Gifted) – I was kindly gifted this a while ago, and have really been enjoying using it, my skin feels super clean afterwards. It claims to be an “award-winning” gentle detoxifying face mask to fight blackheads, minimise pores and prevent breakouts. It’s suitable for all skin types, is vegan and made with recyclable ingredients. Designed with olive powder, white kaolin clay, coconut powder and baobab oil.
So, that’s it folks! Face masks are one of my favourite skin-care items hence why I have so blooming many, but I’ve narrowed it down to the ones I find the absolute best for dry or congested skin.
I haven’t used a face mask in waaay too long! I definitely wanna do one again, maybe I’ll treat myself to a mask next weekend and take a bath or something. I’m just always scared it’s gonna give me a rash even though I’m usually not allergic to things 😀
Lots of love,

It’s a really great face-mask. I use it once a week. xx
I like the sound of that lush face mask, and the rose water one! 🙂 I have a rose water moisturiser and it’s just the best! Catastrophe cosmetic is my go-to face mask from Lush though, so soothing and perfect in summer!
Hope that your week is off to a good start 🙂

It’s amazing isn’t it and it smells incredible. xx
my skin is seriously struggling at the minute, the cold weather with high central heating dries me out so much, but it seems even worse this year! I love the sound of the rose one! I love the Garnier sheet masks but they’re not too great for the environment so i’m using up the few I have then i’m looking for something more sustainable!

Oh no! The rose one is lovely, but if you’re looking for something more sustainable then Upcircle beauty is a good brand to try. xx

Both excellent face-masks. FARMACY is such an under-rated brand. xx
