I’m currently sitting in my garden, the sun is shining and I have a glass of G&T in hand. Pure bliss.
March has been a lovely month so far! It’s officially Spring here in the UK, Joe and I have had some date-days, I dined at The Florist with my best friend, getting stuck into my new job, discovering new foodie places and much much more.
Although it’s only the 22nd March, and I’ve got Mother’s Day to look forward to as my mum and I are dining at The Grove on Sunday, as well as finishing decorating Joe’s office this weekend.
Like the majority of the world, sunshine cheers me up and puts me a great mood. It’s been so nice to be able to sit in the garden again.
Date day at the Giggling Squid
Marilyn (Joe’s mum) came down and looked after Archie while we had a date day in a town close to us. We had lunch at the Giggling Squid, service was shite but the food was incredible.
Seeing Nicol at the Florist
Nicol and I met at The Florist in Watford for some much needed girly time. It was lovely to see her! We’re trying to see each-other atleast once a month now that she’s moved back to the UK.
Discovering MOOD cafe in Watford
I’m in the office Weds-Fri, so I’ve been heading into town for some delicious foods on my lunch. I spotted this vegan cafe called MOOD and have been pretty much going there twice a week! The maki roll is amazing!
Fresh flowers from my neighbour
My neighbour is always giving me flowers and chocolates – she’s one of the best neighbours I’ve ever had. Anyway, she bought round some lovely flowers this week which put a huge smile on my face!
New music from Alexisonfire
I thought they’d split up, but they’ve just released some new music and it’s goooood.
Booking a Villa with friends in South of France
Later on in the year, we’re planning to go to the South of France with 6 other friends. I’m really looking forward to getting some late sun, and having a good time, although I’m going to miss Archie SO much! It’s our first holiday away since we got him (besides UK staycations), so I hope he settles in ok with the doggy boarders.
I started watching Inventing Anna on Netflix and I’m hooked. Dying to know what happens next! I’m on episode 6 by the way.
Started the flooring in Joe’s office
It’s been a while since Joe painted the walls grey, he’s been meaning to do the flooring for a while and he had a free weekend to crack on with it. It’s herringbone styled like what he did in our bedroom. Almost finished – final bits to finish off and do the skirting boards too.
You have a lovely neighbor! Love your colorful cardigan!
She’s so sweet! Thank you Lovely. xx

This post was a lovely read! And your neighbour sounds o lovely. Your March sounds jam packed and I bet you can’t wait to get to the South of France. I’m sure Archie will be absolutely fine : ). I found this month to be quite the stretch financially. It really has been a long month but such a whirlwind. I am very happy Spring is finally here. I hope you have a great week : ) xo
Thank you lovely. She’s so sweet, always bringing gifts round. Yes, not till a couple of months, but can’t wait! Oh no, sorry to hear. You too xx

Annies Food Diary
She’s too kind. Our neighbours were so welcoming when we moved here. Aww bless you, it’s hard to make friends when you’re older, I’m sure you’ll meet at some point. xx
I loved Inventing Anna. I had read about her a few years ago, so knew the story, but still enjoyed the series. The sunny days have been so welcome! Joe has a real talent there, I’d imagine that it’s not easy to get that flooring right! It looks fab! x
Ah it’s so good isn’t it?! I had no idea who she was until it came out on Netflix. He sure does, it’s been tricky but happy to say the skirting boards got finished over the weekend :). xx
Such a lovely post! Thank you for that!! <3
