Ah October, my favourite month! It’s my birthday on Halloween, so lots more events to come but for now I thought I would share some of my favourite moments in October!
Our getaway to Oxfordshire – we stayed at the beautiful Artist Residence in a little hut for our eleven year anniversary. Was very cosy and the food was really really good.
Living in loungewear and pjs – I work from home and some days I just want to be extra comfy due to my stoma, so I’ll pop on some PJs or loungewear. I’m loving ones from Chelsea Peers from ASOS and ones from next too!
NEXT Beauty Boxes – I know I shouldn’t be materialistic but these beauty boxes have put a huge smile on my face this month. So many glorious goodies to experiment with.
Raising money for Dementia UK for my birthday – I try to do a charity fundraiser for my birthday every other year instead of receiving gifts, and this year I’ve carefully selected Dementia UK, as some may know my nan suffers with dementia and is in a care home. So far we’ve raised £80, but I’m hoping to reach my target of £150. Thanks to those who have donated, it means a lot to me.
Tatty devine x gemma correll collaboration – I purchased a beautiful necklace from their latest collaboration. As well as some lightening bolt ear rings!
Marilyn Visit / Family roast with my family – Joe’s mum came down earlier in the month and helped a lot around the house which we really appreciated. Joe also cooked a delicious roast dinner for my parents, his mum and my grandad. We had a gorgeous mushroom wellington!
Tori/Mark’s birthday shindig – It was lovely to see our friends as it felt like it’s been a while. Had drinks, snacks and a good old catch up.
Archie’s first birthday – Archie had a teeny birthday party with uncle Boris, was rather cute. They wore party hats and had cake!
Girls pizza & pasta night – Caught up with some of my favourite ladies over pizza and pasta! Lovely evening.
Sausage Stroll – We went on our first sausage stroll with 60 other sausage dogs in St Albans last weekend. It was good to get Archie socialising with his kind.
Grandads takeaway – We popped round my grandad’s house for an Indian take-away at his favourite restaurant. It was such a nice evening, chatting away, eating good food and watching Strictly.
Bake off – Bake off has been putting a smile on my face every Tuesday! I was a little sad that the vegan baker got booted off last week as she was something a little different and I was rooting for the vegan as you do!
What’s brought you joy this month?
I really loved reading this and seeing your images sweetie!
