Coffee Break

Hello you. How are you doing? I can’t believe I haven’t written a coffee break post since February 2019, oh how times have changed since then.

The dreaded C-19 word that took over our lives for over a year, however things are starting to look up. I mentioned in my March joys post that I’ve been vaccinated, hurrah! Just waiting on my second vaccination to feel fully protected and then maybe, just maybe, I can hug someone other than Joe again.

We’re now allowed to see up to six people in gardens and outdoors which has been AMAZING to say the least. We of course had three pizza parties, we’re getting good at this pizza making malarky.

And pubs, shops and restaurants have started opening up again. Not that I’m really fussed about sitting in a pub garden, I mean, it would be nice, but the thought of having a gorgeous meal out sounds more appealing to me.

Though, that’s enough of boring Covid talk, let’s catch up…

If you haven’t already heard the big news on my blog, I got a part time job in Social Media Marketing. It’s slightly different, I’m stepping away from Digital Design, but I get to write more and that’s what I enjoy doing. With the occasional bit of design thrown in. And I get to finish at half two every day, the dream.

Other than job news and C-19 talk, Archie (our pup) is doing well, he’s getting really confident with other dogs now. Although there was a blip where another dog attacked our baby on one of our daily walks a few weeks back. But he recovered speedily thankfully.

Oh, and we’re in the process of moving home, we’re moving out of Abbots (near Watford) to another small village about 15 minutes away. We should be completing fingers crossed by mid-June. So far, I haven’t found it stressful getting a re-mortgage and sorting out all the solicitor’s paperwork, it’s been quite straight forward. But only time will tell with my stress levels nearer the time.

How have you been feeling?

It can be so stressful moving, so good luck with it. Hopefully its smooth sailing for y’all. To answer your question, I feel a bit okay now that things are gradually getting back to some kind of normality. I wish the weather in the UK will cooperate a little too. Lol!!
