It’s only been about a year or so since I started pencilling in my eyebrows. I have a fringe, so they are always covered. But, since then I’ve tried and tested many brow kit’s and I’ve fallen in love with Benefit’s Big Brow Love Kit.
I purchased mine on Look Fantastic. It’s currently £24 for the trio, and, it’s worth £67.50, so I feel like you’re getting a real bargain there.
Firstly, let’s talk about the packaging. The brow kit comes in a beautiful pink cardboard box with the words “BIG BROW LOVE” on, as well as pictures of the products. It’s very garish but I love that about Benefit’s packaging.
The products come in chic silver plastic packaging, almost futuristic-like. They’re easy to hold and I do like the look of them, however, for me, they don’t have that expensive feel to them – considering Benefit are a well known up market brand.
The trio kit only comes in three shades which is a little disappointing, however, I opted for shade 02, warm golden blonde. Which I personally feel matches the shade of my eyebrows and works nicely alongside my faux ginger locks.
Precisely, My Brow Pencil
A waterproof eyebrow pencil which helps to fill in sparse areas of the brow. Also comes with a built-in spoolie on the other end. It’s super natural looking and blends well. And, it claims to last up to 12 hours if you use it without the other products in the kit.
Gimme Brow
“A volumising fibre brow gel to create fuller-looking arches.” It does exactly that, winner winner chicken dinner.
This tinted brow gel is equipped with a custom tapered brush and a microfibre formula. It adheres to skin and hairs to give instant definition.
24-Hour Brow Setter
The final step in your brow routine is to use the 24-hour brow setter to lock your arches place. This clear brow gel claims to set your shape for up to 24 hours – which I would say, it does, however, I only wear mine for around 16 hours and it does the job and stays in place all day.
Overall, I’m a big fan! It’s my new found love. I think the trio kit is well worth £24, even if the packaging does look a little cheap looking. And, it’s the perfect colour for my brows, fair skin and faux ginger hair. Highly recommend trying it out for yourselves.
