After pouring my heart out about my weight struggles, I asked whether you wanted to see a ‘what I eat in a week’ post, a few of you said yes! So without further ado…
I’m currently on a diet, so ignore the photo above. It’s old and when we could actually eat out, oh, happy days eh! Any who, I eat reasonably healthy with the odd chocolatey treat thrown in.
I’m on a journey to lose two stone, trying to eat around 1,440 calories or less per day. So, here’s what I eat in a week:
Monday
I started the day with a green tea for breakfast, which is 0 calories. I then had a mixed berries and oat milk smoothie for lunch. I snacked on the new mini egg cadburys bar (6 chunks), a packet of pom bear crisps and a oat milk salted caramel hot chocolate. For dinner I had a slimming chicken kiev from Sainsburys with some cucumber.
Tuesday
A cup of green tea to start the day, followed by an oat milk mixed berry smoothie, nakd blueberry muffin bar and pom bear crisps for lunch. I had the same dinner as yesterday, chicken kiev and sliced cucumber. I was feeling a bit peckish so I had a tomato, pepper and mushroom omelette as a late night treat.
Wednesday
For breakfast I had a banana with nutella in the middle and a cup of herbal tea. Sweet potato and carrot soup with sourdough bread for lunch. Followed by a homemade pizza with cheese and mushrooms and home made garlic bread (half of each). I also had a cup of lemon, ginger and honey tea at bedtime.
Thursday
For brunch I had avocado on an english muffin with chilli flakes. For lunch I had a king prawn and vegetable wrap, sooo good! And for dinner I had a beyond burger with cheese, red onion and tomato ketchup with some home made rosemary chips.
Friday
For brekkie, I ate oat and biscoff pancakes from the Pinch of Nom book. For lunch I had carrot and sweet potato soup with one pitta and home made humous with cucumber. Honey and soy sauce salmon fillets with cucumber and cherry tomatoes for dinner followed by a few hotel chocolat chocolates.
Saturday
It’s Saturday, so of course I had a fry up, cauldren veggie sausages, sourdough toast, mushrooms, plum tomatoes, an egg and beans. For dinner I had mulled wine and garlic king prawns with rice.
Sunday
Mixed berry and oat milk smoothie to kick start the day. Leek and potato soup and pom bear crisps for lunch. A banana and peanut butter smoothie, five chunks of mini egg cadburys bar and nakd blueberry muffin for snacks. And a rather healthy dinner, salmon fillet with honey and soy sauce (my favourite dressings) and sliced cucumber.
So, that’s what I eat in a week. I hope you found this interesting to see what I’m eating on my ‘diet’.
Let’s get social. Follow me on Instagram or Twitter. I’m also on Bloglovin, Pinterest and Youtube.
Did you get your Z mug from Anthropologie? 😉 I love seeing what other people eat in a day / week etc, if only to get recipe ideas. I’m trying to eat more fish and I like salmon but I only have it with salad cream and it’s getting a bit old, might try the honey and soy sauce dressing next 🙂

Yes I did haha! Hmm honey and soy sauce salmon is the one! Although I’ve gone vegan/veggie for a month to try and lose weight as it’s not shifting. x
I like that you still have some chocolate in there and that its not just all salads etc! A good balance makes it more sustainable.
P.S. How yummy are those mini egg bars? x

Okay girl, we’re going to need that pizza/ garlic bread recipe from Wednesday that looks insane! I tried to make my own pizza bread in lockdown 1 and it was a huge fail haha! Milli x – http://millidavison.co.uk/

Oh my gosh… *droools*, it’s just a load of butter and garlic mixed in together. And the dough is my husband’s recipe which he got off a company called peddling pizza’s based in st albans. They have a Youtube video on how to make the dough. x
Love this! And love how honest and balanced your diet is! Feel like I need to do this for a bit to work out what I actually eat!

Do it lovely. Always good to look back and seeing what you’re eating. I’ve gone veggie/vegan for the month, so I may do an updated one of these soon. x
