Things That Have Bought Me Joy In February

Biscoff pancakes, expensive but cute biscuits, valentines weekend and Joe’s thirty fourth birthday celebrations. Another month in lockdown, but the end is near.

I’m so ready for June, although I’m not going to wish time away as I’ve been enjoying the slower paced months filled with lots of amazing treats, binge watching Homeland and cuddles with my pup.

Here’s what has brought me joy in February.

Biscoff Pancakes. A pinch of nom recipe – delicious in every way possible.

Cakehead Insta comp. I won a box of treats from Cakehead, so tasty!

Valentines weekend. We celebrated the occasion with afternoon tea from my favourite local bakery. Joe and I also got the same gift for one another, ha.

Cook-a-long Zoom call with friends for Chinese New Year. We made dumpling soup, was AMAZING!

Dishoom breakfast vegan sausage naans. 10/10, would highly recommend the home kits from Dishoom.

Supportive comments on my blog. Thank you to every single one of you who has left me a lovely comment on my IVF story and my relationship with my weight posts, your kind words mean everything to me.

Social Media Detox. I had a few days off social media and it was joyus.

Joe’s birthday. Joe took the day off work – we made home made pizzas, ate fancy doughnuts, went for a long walk and watched Homeland.

Cutting my fringe back in. I have a fringe again FINALLY. It’s not perfect and a little gappy but I’m starting to feel like me again.

Mini egg Cadbury’s chocolate. I saw this floating around on Instagram and needed it in my life. It was delightful!

M&S Chocolate whipped cream. Heavenly!
