With the pandemic going on, I’m not sure how much travelling I’ll get to do this year, however, little staycations around the UK seem much more appealing and perhaps a little safer.
Although, I’m still hopeful that I’ll squeeze in a trip abroad somewhere fancy.
I’ve been incredibly lucky to have travelled to some amazing places in 2020 regardless of COVID. I’ve been super careful when travelling and wore a mask almost everywhere. I’ve seen the likes of Falmouth, Bristol, the Cotswolds, Spain and the Lakes. They’ve all been great holidays, lots of fab memories to look back on.
Any who, without further a do, here’s my wanderlusting list of all the locations I’d like to travel to in 2021.
Dublin
We were supposed to go to Dublin for our ten year anniversary but the trip got cancelled. So I’m hoping next year we’ll get to go!
Manchester
I can’t believe I’ve never been to Manchester! It’s on my bucket list for 2021. I’m hoping to go sometime in the Spring or at Christmas time with all the xmasy markets.
Liverpool
Another city I’d love to see! There’s a great art scene in Liverpool, so I’d be tempted to check out the museums!
Norwich
I’ve been to Norwich once before but only briefly. I’d love to check it out properly as it seems like such a beautiful city.
Oxford
We were supposed to go here on the day of the National lockdown, for our forth year wedding anniversary. I had a really cute hotel booked! So, we’ll have to go next year instead.
Harrogate
I’ve been dreaming of going to Betty’s in Harrogate for afternoon tea. And to walk around all the beautiful cobbled streets!
Newquay
In the summer, I think we’ll book at trip to Cornwall again. We did Falmouth in 2020 and loved it, but I want to see more of the gorgeous beaches.
Brighton
Another one for the warmer months. I’d love to visit Brighton again, it’s been a while!
Kent
I’d love to go to Deal in Kent, I’ve got my eye on some amazing brunch spots there.
Rome
We were supposed to go to Rome in November, then, bam, lockdown happened. But never mind, I’m sure we’ll get to go in 2021.
Florida
Now this one depends on COVID and if I can go with my stoma bag. I’d love to go on all the rides but I’m not sure if it’s do-able with my stoma. Maybe I’m just being extra precocious.
Iceland
I’ve been dreaming of Iceland for god knows how long! Maybe 2021 will be the year I get to go. But again depends on the pandemic.
Finland
I’ve got my eye on staying in a magical cabin in Finland. It would be amazing to see the northern lights here too and go sledge riding with huskies.
Maldives
And last but by no means least, the Maldives is somewhere I’d LOVE to see. Maybe for my birthday or our eleven year anniversary we’ll get to go. But yet again depends on COVID.
So that’s my 2021 travel plan. I’m not sure if I’ll get to go to them all but a gal can dream, right?

I can’t wait to go to Oxford! Hopefully in Jan or Feb 2021. x
Iceland and Maldives are definitely on my bucket list too – but definitely not planned for 2021 for me! I am hoping that 2021 will be kinder to us in terms of travelling and you get to cross most if not all these destinations off your list!

This is an exciting travel list for 2021! Dublin and Brighton are great places for weekend breaks, I think you’d love it there. I would absolutely love to go to Iceland one day, that is definitely on my bucketlist. I have a couple of European city breaks booked for next year, so I’m crossing everything that they will happen!!
