I’ve stripped my skincare routine down as I feel it’s much better for my skin. One cleanser, three toners, one moisturiser, an eye cream and a serum!
And now that I’m 30 I feel that I shouldn’t be using a hundred different cleansers, toners and moisturisers, I just stick to what my skin loves and needs.
So today I thought I would share my updated skincare routine with you! Yes I’m still skin needling, (more about that here) but I haven’t included the needle roller in the photographs. And, yes I forgot to include my trusty Antipodes eye cream too! But I’ll talk about those a bit later on.
Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser – I’ve used this on and off for years and it’s the only cleanser that seems to love my dry skin. It’s made with rosemary, chamomile, cocoa butter and eucalyptus essential oil. All dreamy ingredients! And, it’s pretty non expensive too – priced at £17 for 100ml, it also comes with two muslin cloths.
You can purchase it here.
Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Facial Toner – I bloody love this toner! It’s perfect for dry skin. It has little rose petals in the formula which makes it that extra bit more luxurious and it smells heavenly. Priced at £21 for 100ml and £34 for 250ml.
Fancy trying it? you can purchase it here.
Pixi Glow Tonic – this is a great toner to banish those pesky spots as it has glycolic acid in the formula! It’s an exfoliating toner which I use occasionally. And, it makes your skin glow! Priced at £10 for 100ml or £18 for 250ml.
You can buy it here.
Omorovicza Queen of Hungary Mist – this is a rather new addition to my skincare. I love spritzing this on my face during the day, but you can use it in the mornings and evenings after post-cleanse too! This mist/toner is quite expensive, it’s priced at £22 for 30ml and £59 for 100ml but well worth every penny as it makes you feel like a goddess when you spritz.
You can purchase it here.
Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturiser Dry/Sensitive – I’ve been using this moisturiser for years without fail. It’s great for my dry skin! It’s made wiith Borage and avocado oils, echinacea and a natural source of vitamin E. It intensely moisturises, smoothes and conditions the skin. Priced at £22 for 50ml which lasts for months and months!
You can buy it online here.
Antipodes Kiwi Seed Oil Eye Cream – now I have to be honest, I always forget to put an eye cream on, but when I do, I always reach for Antipodes Kiwi Seed Oil eye cream. It’s made with nutrient-rich avocado oil, carrot seed and antioxidant vinanza grape. It’s so lovely to use! Priced at £27.99 for 30ml.
Fancy a new eye cream to try, you can purchase it here.
Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water – I’ve used this micellar water for yonks and bloody love it! It takes off my make-up so easily without striping the skin. And, it’s SO cheap as well – £4.99 for 400ml. You can get your hands on it online or at most supermarkets.
Sarah Chapman London Skinesis Overnight Facial – this has to be one of the BEST serums I’ve used! Sarah Chapman’s facials are renowned for lifting, firming and perfecting the skin. This potent serum oil with its silky cashmere texture recreates those benefits while you sleep. Made with a cocktail of vitiams, dermaxyl peptide, renovage antioxidants, omega oils and skin brighteners blended with exotic oils. This has vitamin A in the formula which is also great for anti-ageing! Priced at £54 for 15ml.
You can purchase it here.
Environ Cosmetic Roll CIT – I haven’t included this in the photograph but I am obsessed with skin needling – blog post all about it here! The needling tool helps to enhance penetration of active ingredients into the epidermis, soften lines and wrinkles, tighten the skin, reduce the appearance of scarring and pigmentation marks and encourage disappearance of dilated blood vessels. It’s amazing trust me!
Priced at £65 which is rather expensive but it lasts you years and years!
You can get your hands on it here.

It’s such a gorgeous toner, I love it! Definitely repurchasing when I run out. x
My skin freaked out this year, so I basically reduced my skincare routine down to a cleanser and spot treatment (when needed). Now that my skin is back to normal, I think I will add a moisturizer to that routine.. But I love how simple my skincare steps are 🙂

Sorry to hear that your skin freaked out! I think it’s the best way to get your skin back to normal… stripping down to only three steps, or just use a cleanser like you mentioned. x
I haven’t used the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish for ages but I absolutely love it, might have to repurchase!

It’s amazing isn’t it?! I’ve nearly used mine up, sob. Will have to re-purchase. x
I’m dying to try that Liz Earle cleanse and polish, they don’t sell it in Singapore and shipping is outrageous. Fresh toners always catch my eye when I’m in Sephora, they’re packaged so beautifully!
