It’s always lovely to document little moments of happiness and sharing them with you all. So, without further a do, here’s a re-cap of stuff I’ve been up to in September!
Spain – At the start of the month, we took a little family trip to Spain for 5 days. It was lovely to get a bit of sunshine, read my book ‘Normal People’ and eat lots of delicious foods.
Baking Lemon Drizzle cake – I made a lemon drizzle cake earlier on in the month, it was absolutely delicious and bought me so much joy.
Making pizza – Joe and I made pizza’s from scratch, we added pepper and oregano in the base and it was amazing.
Normal People – I’ve really enjoyed reading Normal People and watching the tv series this month. Lots of twists and turns. Well worth a watch!
Cherry coke – I’ve been seriously addicted to cherry coke this month, it’s so tasty! It’s the little things that bring me so much joy, like having a can of cherry coke with my dinner.
The Social Dilemma documentary on Netflix – I’m sure you’ve heard about this documentary, but it’s definitely worth a watch if you haven’t seen it. It’s eye opening and has made me go on multiple digital detoxes this month.
Our newly decorated living room – Joe and I finally got round to painting our living room in Sept. The walls are a dark grey and it’s so beaut. There’s just the kitchen walls and floor to do, hopefully by the end of this year we’ll get it done.
Digital Detox Days – I had a few digital detox days in September, my mum brought round a box of krispy kremes, I watched keeping up with the kardashians and Deadpool. It was grand.
Prints for home – We finally ordered some large prints to go up on the walls! Including some of our beautiful photographs from our wedding back in 2016.
GBBO returns – I’m so excited because the great British bake off has returned! First episode was so good!
Orange Twirls – My husband went out and found orange twirls in Tesco, you don’t understand how happy this made me! Pure moments of happiness.
Beyond Burgers – We also had beyond burgers for the first time, they tasted like the real deal. So so good.
Corby – We went back to Corby at the end of September after our quarantine was over! Was simply lovely catching up with family and seeing little Teddy!

Ah love this! I was lucky to go to Spain as well right before it got into quarantine and felt really nice to see my family. I’m so happy Bake Off has returned as well, although it has made me crave baking..and that lemon drizzle has really made me crave it! Love this post xx

Ahh how lovely! What part of Spain did you go to? Loved Normal People, such a great book/tv series. x
I had to look up what an Orange Twirl was. Cadbury doesn’t seem to sell them in the U.S. I guess I will be making an Amazon order very soon.
