An Honest Review Of UpCircle Beauty

AD – this post contains gifted items. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Also, please note that I only work with brands I feel truly passionate about.

When I saw an email in my inbox from UpCircle I was so excited as I’ve heard such good things about the brand.

They kindly gifted me the coffee and lemongrass body scrub, the face mask and cleansing face balm. And, two samples to try.

So what’s so special about the brand? They use coffee grounds, brewed chai tea spices and discarded fruit stones which often end up in landfills. The products are vegan, cruelty free, organic and natural! Also, made in the UK, is ocean friendly and palm oil free.

So let’s get into the review shall we…

Body scrub: coffee & lemongrass

The Price – You can purchase the body scrub for £14.99 for 200ml. A pretty reasonable price for how much is in the tube.

The Packaging – The body scrub comes in a squeezable tube with a twist-open cap in a lovely turquoise colour. The packaging is recycle friendly which is a bonus.

The Formula –  Made with coffee, lemongrass with sea salt, lime and coconut oil. I love the formula for this body scrub and the smell is incredible! My skin feels SO soft and the overall texture is amazing after use. I noticed that my cellulite had practically gone! I highly recommend it!

The Results – I noticed my skin looked smooth and refreshed after just one use. And, my cellulite had disappeared – amazing if you ask me. Really happy with the results! I want to try all the different flavours now!

Face mask

The Price – You can purchase the face mask for £18.99 for 60ml.

The Packaging – The face mask comes in a peach coloured box, once opened it comes in a glass tub with a black plastic lid. It also has black lettering on which I think looks very smart. The packaging is also recyclable.

The Formula –  A gently detoxifying face mask that helps to fight blackheads, minimise pores and prevent break outs. This face mask is made with ground powder of discarded olive stones, a natural product of the olive oil industry and a powerful anti-inflammatory. The olive powder is combined with rejuvenating white kaolin clay, coconut powder and baobab oil. Baobab is becoming a popular ingredient in beauty products these days.

Suitable for all skin types.

The Results – My skin felt really cleansed and no sign of break outs. My skin also felt really smooth after just one use. I now have this part of my skincare routine and use twice a week.

Cleansing Face Balm

The Price – You can purchase the cleansing balm for £18.99 for 50ml.

The Packaging – Likewise to the face mask, the cleansing balm comes in a peach coloured box and once opened it comes in a glass tub with a black plastic lid.

The Formula –  A gentle cleansing balm that removes make-up, pollution and impurities. Made with finely ground powder of discarded apricot stones which is rich in antioxidant vitamin e, combined with blackcurrant seed, blue tansy and sea buckthorn oils.
I have to admit I really don’t like the smell of this one but it does do a good job of removing my make-up.

The Results – My skin felt really cleansed and moisturised after using. But the smell is putting me off a bit. I don’t think I would personally purchase this but it was worth giving it a go. I much prefer the smell of the face mask and body scrub. But who knows, you may love the smell of it!

Overall, I love the brand – what it stands for and the idea of using discarded fruit stones, coffee grounds and brewed chai tea spices, instead of seeing them end up in landfills! I also love the packaging, I think the branding is on point, feels very trendy. And, I think the results of these products are bloody fantastic, despite the smell of the cleansing balm.
