We all love binge watching our favourite shows on Netflix, so I thought I’d share an updated list of 10 of the best things I’ve watched on Netflix. Here’s an older version if you’re interested.
So without further a do…
Big Mouth. An animation that plays on puberty. A really funny watch. Season 1 was great, 2 was ok. Now they’re back with a third series which I’m excited about!
He’s just not that into you. When you’re craving a girly chic flick, he’s just not that into you is one to go for! It stars Bradley Cooper and Scarlett Johansson in.
F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Who doesn’t like friends? An easy watch for when you’re multi-tasking – doing the washing up or cleaning the house.
The fault in our stars. I read the book on this and LOVED it! The film is just as good, the characters are played really well.
Queer Eye. A tv series that helps adults to make-over their apperance/lives by a team of gay guys. Featuring the fab five: Antoni Porowski, food and wine expert; Tan France fashion expert; Karamo Brown, culture expert; Bobby Berk, design expert; and Jonathan Van Ness, grooming expert.
The Good Place. This tv show focuses on Eleanor (Kristen Bell), who wakes up in the afterlife and is introduced by Michael (Ted Danson) to “The Good Place“, a highly selective Heaven-like utopia he designed, as a reward for her righteous life.
The Great British Bake Off. I’ve loved GBBO for years and I’m so happy that the series is finally on Netflix. I’ve been binge watching it this month!
If you haven’t heard of the “GBBO” it’s a competition for the best bakers in the UK. They go head to head in baking a signature, technical and show stopper every week.
You! I am a little late to the party, but I really enjoed “You“. I binge watched it in a weekend – ooops.
It features “Dan” from Gossip Girl, who plays a book store manager who becomes obsessed with this girl. It’s quite dark, mysterious and scary how someone can find out so much about you online! Definitely worth a watch!
Dead to Me. A really addictive watch!
Jen’s (one of the main characters) husband recently died in a hit-and-run, and the widow is determined to solve the crime. Optimistic free spirit Judy has recently suffered a tragic loss of her own. The ladies meet at a support group and, despite their polar-opposite personalities, become unlikely friends.
Peaky Blinders; a focus on the gangster family “Peaky Blinders” in Birmingham, England in 1919, several months after the end of the First World War. The story centres on Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy) and the gang.
It’s quite violent, but the storyline is so good! Also Cillian Murphy plays Tommy Shelby really well!
I’m currently on the look out for new things to watch, what are your favourite tv shows or documentaries on Netflix? Let me know in the comments below.
