Where To Eat In London: Christopher’s And Bao

Oh hi, it’s Sunday morning and I’m just chilling in my dressing gown listening to John Mayer. Nothing new here apart from two foodie places to try in London!

Let’s start with the brunch option. Christopher’s has been on my bucket list for ages, I’ve been eyeing up the chocolate french toast on Insta for quite some time.

Joe had a tortilla with avocado, salsa and eggs and throughly enjoyed his too!

It exceeded all expectations! I’d happily go here every weekend if it was on my doorstop.

The service was on point too. Very friendly waiters and waitress’s.

Overall I’d rate this brunch spot a 10/10.

After brunch we wandered around Covent Garden, then popped our heads down Oxford Street. I bought some clothes in TOPSHOP and a necklace in Tiffany’s. I’m feeling really spendy at the mo – failed my spending ban month! Shame on me….

Any who, I’m really addicted to silk skirts at the moment, so that’s what I got, oh and a really cute black jumper. I’ll hopefully take some outfit photo’s of them soon…

Back to the food… we finished the day off by going to Bao in Fitzrovia. A cute Taiwanese inspired restaurant. Bao has also been on my foodie bucket list for AGES!

To begin with, you select what type of dish’s you desire on a piece of paper. Joe and I went for four of the bao’s, three of the xiao chi’s and the dan dan potato (da chi).

We tried the classic, confit, black cod and beef shortrib and they were all equally delicious, however I would say the black cod was my favourite!

It’s quite a small restaurant so I would advise booking, especially on a Saturday!

Overall, I loved the experience, every dish was delicious. I’d rate them a 10/10 too.

Have you tried Christopher’s or Bao? What are your favourite resturants to go to in London? I’d love to know, let me know in the comments below!
