The Duck and Rice – the best Asian restaurant in London? It’s definitely up there as one of the best. On par with my love for Dishoom and Ping Pong and here’s why…
First off let me say how beautifully decorated Duck and Rice is, from the outside and in. It’s two floors with white and blue tiled walls and wooden tables – very stylish. Secondly, the food is out of this world! Joe (my hub) and I enjoyed every single dish.
To start we had the pan-fried pork & Chinese leaves gyoza and the Char siu Cheung Fun Dim Sum. Oh my, both were so incredible! It’s the first time I’ve tried Cheung Fun Dim Sum too!
For main we had duck and rice and the black pepper bavette beef chop suey – both were amazing! The black pepper bavette beef chop suey was very peppery and had a kick, but was delicious. The duck was so juicy and succulent, mmmm. Highly recommend them all!
For drinks I had a Gin Mare and my other half had a Pilsner Urquell Tank Beer. Both were lovely too.
