A Lush Haul

I was kindly gifted some Lush goodies at Christmas by Joe’s sister. So, I thought I would share my love for three amazing bath bombs: Butterbear, Big Blue and Calavera.

Butterbear. I believe this one is limited edition and is sadly sold out – fear not, they have the butterball bath bomb all year round which is almost identical to this one – just isn’t shaped like a bear.

“This friendly critter has a generous helping of cocoa butter to give you the softest bear hug imaginable. It’s great for nourishing and protecting skin, no matter how long you bathe, and has the same sweet vanilla-ylang ylang fragrance as our Butterball Bath Bomb. Made with animal-friendly synthetic musk, the comforting aroma from this bear will linger softly on the skin long after you leave the tub.”

Big Blue. A gorgeous underrated bath bomb! It makes you feel like you’re a mermaid swimming in the big blue ocean.

“This calming bath bomb evokes a summer’s day at the seaside: perfect for drifting off. Big Blue’s key ingredient is a type of kelp called arame seaweed, which softens in your hot bath water. Arame is rich in vitamins and minerals including iodine, which helps to regulate the metabolism. Sea salt softens the skin, helping to remove dead skin cells, while lemon oil clears the mind and, like lavender oil, is antiseptic and cleansing.”

Calavera. This is one I haven’t tried before so I’m super excited to test it out!
It’s very refreshing, smells of citrus ingredients, mmmm.

“Who says you need to be alive to be the life and soul of the party? A hallowed green shower with reviving lime and uplifting neroli lathers will rouse your senses back into the mortal realm. Just one encounter will leave your spine tingling (that’ll be the cooling aloe vera) and skin smelling like sweet jelly beans.”

Let’s get social. I’m on Instagram, Bloglovin, Youtube and Twitter.
