Who doesn’t love a good old creamy latte or a hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows?
Here are five coffee shops in London that I highly rate – the ones that get 10/10 from me.
From London Grind’s amazing colourful latte’s to Monmouth’s amazing flat whites, and Curators Coffee’s incredible green matcha latte’s. I’ll also be discussing the Department of Coffee and Social Affairs, where Joe and I went for his birthday back in February this year. As well as Hotel Chocolat’s mouth watering hot chocolates.
London Grind
I’m a big fan of all of the grind’s in London – Soho, Holborn, London to name a few.
London Grind located near London Bridge and it’s amazing. I love their colourful latte’s – I recently had a pink one, felt like a princess! The pink latte was made with beetroot and surprisingly tasted lovely. They also do blue and green ones that I’m yet to try.
What’s also great about London Grind is that it turns into a cocktail bar at night with music playing. It’s really fun and very chilled as you sit back enjoy the cocktails, some beats and enjoy your company.
Curator’s Coffee Gallery
I’ve only visited Curator’s Coffee Gallery once. It’s hidden off of Oxford street but what a great little find. The green matcha latte was incredible – highly highly recommend. The food is also excellent! The brownie and cheese toastie were a-ok!
Department of Coffee and Social Affairs
We came to the Department of Coffee and Social Affairs by chance for Joe’s birthday back in February. It’s a really cool little place with quirky decor – star wars features and interesting quotes on the wall.
And, more importantly the coffee (latte’s) are amazeballs.
Monmouth Coffee
I love Monmouth Coffee – it’s located near Borough Market, London Bridge.
I’ve been a few times, there’s always a queue but the coffee (flat white) is delicious, so worth the wait!
Hotel Chocolat
And last but by no means least – Hotel Chocolat is incredible. Their cafe is located near Covent Garden and they do the most amazing hot chocolates – from chilli, to white to milk to dark. Honestly one of the best hot chocolate’s I’ve ever had in my lifetime. Seriously seriously good. You have to try them!
Ok, so there’s five of my favourite coffee shops in London. Let me know if you’ve been to any of the above or please recommend your favourites below as I’d love to check them out.
