T’was mine and Joe’s seven year anniversary on the 30th September – yes, seven whole years! Thats 2,555 days we’ve spent together, how cray.
Any who, this year we celebrated in style at the beautiful Rosewood hotel in London (one of the most dreamiest venues in London).
We indulged in the gorgeous Art Afternoon Tea – every detail, every taste, the interiors and even the service was perfection. I cannot fault it one bit – actually I can, but that’s down to my own fault. It was very filling and my only regret was not asking for more to take home.
It’s no surprise that it was voted as the Best Contemporary Afternoon Tea in the UK.
If you like art, you’ll obviously love the Art Afternoon Tea. It was 100% up my street.
Cakes were designed and inspired by the works of famous iconic artists such as Banksy, Yayoi Kusama, Damien Hirst, Alexander Calder and Mark Rothko.
The service was impeccable. The staff really knew there shiz – as they carefully explained each arty treat with such passion and enthusiasm – which was lovely to see.
Oh my, and the venue was just utterly stunning. It honestly felt like we were dining as royals.
The building was like a beautiful castle and the interior design was amazing – lots of mustard hues and rose gold tones. Also, is it a little weird to mention how beautiful the bathroom was? Believe me when I say, wow… marble and brass heaven. I took far too many selfies in there, oops!
Being in this dreamy castle, I honestly felt like a princess for the day. And who doesn’t want that feeling?!
I also adored the little art touches that were scattered across the reception and dining room. Additionally they had a canine friend (a labrador) to greet visitors. Although we didn’t get the chance to meet him, it is such a cool idea.
When I was further researching into the hotel, I learnt that the Rosewood is a pet friendly hotel! How cool is that? So, if you were to stay the night, you can bring your furry friend with you.
Dogs receive a sumptuous bed, delicious welcome treats, water/food bowls as well as Pearl’s Guide to London with recommendations from local dog-friendly restaurants, bars and parks including Lincoln’s Inn Field, located moments from the hotel. Overall, I loved our day at the Rosewood hotel – sipping fancy teas and enjoying the Art Afternoon Tea. Our anniversary was made so special during our short stay. Even more so when they brought out an additional cake to celebrate our anniversary – an incredible chocolate dessert.
I wish we could go again and again! I’d also love to stay the night too – a girl can dream.
Highly highly recommend. Cannot rate the Rosewood enough!
This afternoon tea is on par with my love for Sketch’s. It’s the perfect treat for any special occasions – birthdays, anniversaries, celebrating a new job and more.
