Peggy Porschen Cakes: The most Instagrammable bakery in London

Peggy Porschen’s Parlour, the Instagammer’s dream backdrop.

This has to be the prettiest cake shop in London right? Styled with pretty pink walls, marble table-tops and has the most gorgeous flower arrangement entwined around the doorway. They also sell the most delicious cakes – there almost too pretty to eat!
It’s no surprise why Instagrammers love it here so much.
Joe and I were like excitable little puppies when we walked in, so much choice, we wanted to eat everrrrything! They had banoffee (my favourite), salted caramel, strawberries and champagne and much much more. I of course went for the banoffee and Joe opted for the salted caramel.
Not only did they look like little pieces of art, they tasted amazing too. I would go as far as saying it was one of the best banoffee cakes I’ve ever had in my life, it’s on par with my love for Sticky Fingers‘ banoffee pie from Amsterdam.
We also had our caffeine fix, one latte and one cappuccino.
I’ve seen a lot of Peggy Porschen Instagram photo’s with pretty coffee stencils on their hot drinks, so I was expecting this when we ordered, but we didn’t get them… sad face.

Any who, we had a delightful experience here. We were in cake heaven.
I’m definitely going to pop back and try a few more of those incredible cupcakes when I’m in London next.

If you’re planning on visiting Peggy Porschen’s parlour, a tip from me would be to get there fairly early if you want a table. They have six two-seater tables inside, as well as a few more tables outside.
They don’t take bookings and they get super busy at the weekends.
And do try the banoffee cupcake, you will not be disappointed!
