I’ve been meaning to get my hands on Victoria Beckham Beauty for blooming ages, so I purchased a few items for my birthday treat.
I was curious by the lipsticks, eye-liners and lipglosses. Although the whole collection looks dreamy.
I played it quite safe with my colour choices, neutral pink-nude lippys for every-day wear, and a black eye-liner. Although I did buy a beautiful shimmery green eye-liner to pair with my brown eyes – that’s about as daring as I went.
Firstly, I’m not usually won over by celebrity beauty launches with the exception of a few, such as Selena Gomez’ Rare Beauty brand – that I adore. Any who, Victoria Beckham always looks so put-together and has been known for her infamous pout, so I was really intrigued by her beauty collection.
When the products arrived they came in a beautiful bag and super gorgeous minimal packaging – black typography and off-white packaging. It’s worth noting that the lipgloss and lipsticks are pretty heavy to hold but I like that the packaging feels premium and classy. I love the little details of subtle tortoiseshell too.

I loved the look of ‘Pout’ and ‘Twist’ out of the lipsticks online, to me they are the perfect every-day-wear shades and once applied, they are, oh so very moisturising. They feel like a lip-balm, gloss and lipstick in one. I wore Twist a lot when I went to Madrid and to a gothic wedding recently (pictured below). I do find these lipsticks really lovely to wear, although I do need to keep topping up through-out the day.
‘Twist’ reminds me of an old discontinued MAC lipstick that I loved back in the day, ‘Bare Again‘ if anyone remembers? However ‘Twist’ is a slightly darker nude.

The posh gloss I went for was ‘Fizz’, a lovely subtle pink-nude shade with a slight shimmer. I’m wearing it below, without any lip-liner or lipstick, just the gloss.

I have to say I’m really impressed with the gloss I chose, it doesn’t feel sticky, it’s really comfortable to wear and I do love the colour.

Moving on to the eye-liners. I’ve been wearing the black satin kajal liner every-day on my water-line since I purchased it. It is a really thick pigmented eye-liner, you have to be careful sometimes as it can smudge easily and it’s quite hard to remove as it’s so so pigmented. I also tend to top-up my eye-liner around three times a day.
I haven’t used the shimmery green eye-liner as much, but it’s so so pretty. It might get a lot of wear during the festive season.

Overall, I would say the products that I purchased are most definitely all worth the hype and I’ve been getting a lot of wear out of all of the products, minus one. I think they are really great quality, the packaging is luxe and I’m intrigued to try more.

It’s worth mentioning that I have massively reduced my beauty consumption for a few years, I’m trying to use what I have without buying anything else, although these VB pieces felt like a real treat to buy. And I’m usually a creature of habit with what I wear on my face, so it felt refreshing to try some new beauty items.

Have you tried anything from the VB Beauty collection? Or is there anything on your beauty wish-list?

I adore VB Beauty! You need to try her bronzer – it blends so seamlessly and looks natural! x
