Joe and I just came back from a really lovely 5 day adventure to Madrid. We’ve actually been to Madrid around five times now. So, I may do a guide on what to do in Madrid at some point as I’ve stayed in various parts of the city, so I feel like I know my way around quite a bit.
Where we stayed
Any who, we stayed in this gorgeous Air bnb in Castellana which was very spacious, had a lovely living room, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. We were a short walk away from all the areas we wanted to visit.

I very much enjoyed the swinging chair in the living room and the beautiful selection of artwork!

Food glorious food
We near enough had Honest Greens every-day. Which is my faveeee restaurant in Madrid. I wish they would bring this place to the UK. The food is amazing, great healthy nutritious foods and interesting desserts like the passionfruit matcha cheesecake that we devoured.

For a little date night out we went to Bel Mondo which is part of the Big Mamma Group. We both had the amazing truffle pasta and tiramisu to share. This place is very trendy and has the same vibe as the London one’s like Carlotta.
And for the rest of the days we ate at the apartment.
We didn’t do much exploring as Joe was remote working, so I had a lot of chill time at the apartment which was lovely.
I think that’s most of our holidays abroad done this year! I am having a weekend away for my birthday though, I’m planning on having a very relaxed time in Bath.
Looks like such a lovely city break, Zoey!
I’ve visited Spain many times, but never Madrid. Must add it (and your gorgeous Airbnb) to my list.
