Belated Best of 2023: Beauty And Lifestyle Favourites of 2023

I know we are fast approaching Easter, however, I didn’t want to miss out on doing a round up of the best of the best from 2023, as I’ve missed a few months of writing and my blogging schedule now has a massive back-log…

So, as I do every single year, I gather all my faves from the year into one big collective blog post.

Some of these favourites will be no surprise to some of you, that’s if you read my blog often.

Any who, I tend to be a bit of a creature of habit sometimes, and in 2023 I didn’t do an awful lot of experimenting with new beauty products, especially in the make-up department, besides having a serious moment with RARE Beauty. I do prefer to trial new skin-care and hair-care, so there will be lots of newbies that have become faves on the skin-care and hair-care front.

Best Moments of 2023:

Iceland in January 2023 was a dream come true! I’ve been wanting to travel around beautiful Iceland for what feels like a life-time and I’m glad I’ve safely ticked it off the bucket-list. I do actually want to go back in Spring or Summer time, but I may wait another year or two before I re-visit.

The Port Lympne experience Joe and I did in September was pretty amazing too. We fed giraffes and slept alongside the animals – in a tent!!!

We had the loveliest stay in Oxfordshire in the Summer at the gorgeous Artist Residence. I booked The Stable Suite which included a massive comfy bed, garden area, sofa, shower room and epic bath-tub. I would love one of those bath-tubs in my house, a lady can dream right? Anyway, I completely switch off from the Digital sphere whenever I stay here. I feel refreshed, relaxed and ready to tackle reality every-time I leave.

Harry Styles gig was a major highlight in 2023, I had so much fun that evening. So many cowboy hats and feather boas everywhere – it was fantastic!

October was a pretty decent month too, also known as Scorpio Season! I loved seeing City and Colour for the 13th or 14th time and going to the Harry Potter Dark Arts Experience on my birthday. As well as experiencing being wined and dined at The Galvin, a foodie’s dream.

I also adored some incredible spa-day experiences, one being at Sopwell House in St Albans and the other at Aqua Sana in Woburn. Can’t beat a spa day can you?!

So that’s all my favourites of the year! Apologies that this post was so belated, life and health is sometimes out of our control… So, better late than never!

What’s your stand-out beauty product from 2023? Or perhaps you’ve fallen in love with a new release or discovered a golden oldie in early 2024 that’s now become a holy grail! Let me know in the comments below.
