Sunday Riley is a brand I’ve seen all over the internet, especially their product Good Genes. But is the brand worth the hype?
I’ve trialed and tested Ceramic Slip Plant Based Cleanser and Good Genes Glycolic Acid Treatment for a fair few months and here are my thoughts.
Ceramic Slip Cleanser
This is lovelyyy. I have dry/combination skin and it completely cleanses my skin in a gentle way and helps to keep my skin hydrated. It doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight in any way. It doesn’t have a scent, which I wouldn’t of minded to be honest. AND, it doesn’t break me out! The packaging is simple but designed in a nice way. It has that high-end feel to it.
It’s £28 for 150ml from SPACE NK.
Good Genes Glycolic Acid Treatment
Now this little treatment has really impressed me. It’s £85 for the full-size (30ml) from Space NK but I have a travel size one and let me tell ya, I will be purchasing.
“Good Genes deeply exfoliates the dull surface of the skin for instant glow and radiance. It also brightens the appearance of dark spots and discolorations and instantly plumps the look of fine lines and wrinkles in 3 minutes.” – In just 3 minutes, yes you heard that right! Completely agree with this statement.
I don’t have pigmentation really, I don’t go out in the sun that much to be honest. But I do have some dark spots. And this little baby has cleared them up, my skin looks pretty much flawless at the moment.
It’s also worth mentioning that Good Genes is Sulfate-Free, Paraben-Free, Gluten-Free, Soy-Free, Phthalate-Free, Fragrance-Free and lastly Vegan.
Overall, from what I’ve tried of the brand, I’m really impressed, 100% worth the hype. Their products are on the expensive side, but to be honest, if they’re going to make my skin flawless, who doesn’t want that?! I will definitely purchase both of these again, although I will say, the cleanser isn’t my favourite cleanser I’ve ever tried. But Good Genes is one of the BEST treatments I’ve tried in a LONG time.
I would like to try more from the brand, perhaps their Sleeping Night Oil, or C.E.O stuff.
