I caved and purchased Saint Laurent’s Loulou toy quilted crossbody bag! I’ve had the Saint Laurent card holder for years (6 years to be exact) and bought my first ever designer handbag on my 30th, but felt like treating myself to another two years later.
Some may think it’s A LOT to spend on a bag (£1,120). But it’s an investment piece and I’ll get A LOT of wear out of it.
It’s quite small, but I was after a diddy bag that I could take to weddings, special occasions and so on. And, I’m in LOVE! It’s so beautiful, really good quality and in timeless black. A colour I will always wear.
I purchased it from Farfetch a few days ago, it was in Brussels but then it arrived on my door stop this morning!
I’m dedicating this bag to my nan and grandad who sadly passed away last year. Every time I wear it, I’ll think of them.

As I mentioned above, it’s quite a spendy purchase, but one i’ll treasure forever, and hopefully pass down in the family (one day).
I’m not one to usually show off my designer purchases, I’m in a very fortunate position that I can afford it, so I hope this post doesn’t come across the wrong way. I still shop small, independent businesses where I can and I LOVE Primark & ASOS for some bargs.
I absolutely love Saint Laurent bags & have around five now, I think. They’re definitely investments, but compared to Chanel, the prices are great for the quality. You’ll wear this for years! x
