Life has got a little cray cray with the ‘potential’ house move this June. So I’m taking a short break.
My first break from blogging in six and a half years. How mad is that?
We all deserve a break here and there, and, I promise I won’t be gone for long, but we’re on the verge of moving into our beautiful second ‘forever’ home and life has become a bit too stressful.
Our buyers were/are considering on dropping out if we don’t/didn’t complete before stamp duty holiday ends, lots of panic emails to our solicitors and yeah it’s all got a bit too much if I’m being frank.
Will it go through? Only time will tell. And, what will be will be.
Any who, if we end up moving, I won’t have internet straight away, so I’m going to enjoy having a mini digital detox. A very much needed one as my job revolves around Social Media too. No doubt I’ll still pop up on Instagram stories every now and then, but for the most part I’m staying away from socials, emails and the blog to get our lives in order.
Anyway, just thought I’d come on here and update you all.
Just thought I’d do a quick re-cap of June Joys too, as I’ll be skipping that blog month while I’m on the break.
I’ve been loving watching the Euros, The French Open and excited for Wimbledon. Allllll of the big sports events! I’m rooting for England in the Euros, although wasn’t wowed by their performance against Scotland. Also enjoying lots of plant based meals – treated us to Hello Fresh and Mindful Chef boxes. Joe also treated me to an Apple watch this month, I blooming love it and have been trying to close my rings every day. Another random June joy has been sitting in the garden working, although it’s been pouring with rain the past couple of days.
So yeah, that’s it! A quick summary of my June joys.
Hope you’re well and speak soon.
