Kate Somerville, a name that’s talked about all over the internet. So, I just had to try one of her cleansers.
I’m being really good at using up a beauty product before buying a new one to try these days. So, the time came where I got my hands on Kate Somerville’s goat milk moisturising cleanser. Goat milk, you say? I’m a bit skeptical of this ingredient, however after trialling it for a few months, I have to say it’s really gentle and lovely on the skin. AND, it doesn’t smell disgusting like gone-off milk like I thought it would.
The packaging is somewhat simplistic, but thats what I like about it. The lilac and the white text contrast really well together. The formula itself comes in a squeezable generous sized tube and is priced at £34 on Look Fantastic.
I only cleanse once at night as I’ve stripped my skincare to a minimum so I have a feeling this tube will last me months and months. It’s also worth noting that I have dry to combination skin and when I was researching cleansers, I wanted something really gentle and calming on the skin.
The cleanser claims to revitalise your skin without stripping away essential moisture. And, it does exactly that!
The formula is made primarily with goat’s milk which is a creamy texture that lifts away dirt, excess oil and makeup. Studies show goat’s milk can keep your skin soft and moisturised, as well as this, its high levels of lactic acid can help your skin shed its dead cells and make your complexion brighter. It also has Manuka honey in the formulation which is great for acne prone skin, as well as avocado and jojoba oils to hydrate the skin.
A big thumbs up from me! My dry to combination skin has never felt brighter, more calm and moisturised after cleansing. I will definitely be picking up some more of Kate Somerville’s beauty products to try and of course I’ll review them on here.
Have you tried Kate Somerville’s goat milk cleanser? What are your thoughts?
