What I’ve Been Watching and Listening To Lately

There have been some really great stuff out there hasn’t there? From the likes of Bridgerton to Framing Britney Spears.

I haven’t been watching too much Netflix lately (I mean there’s still a couple of noteworthy tv shows and films to talk about), if anything I’ve been binge watching old school TOWIE on ITV Be. I’ve never watched it before, but I’m addicted! Mark Wright was a right old douche bag wasn’t he! Any who, here’s what I’ve been watching and listening to…

TV Shows

Bridgerton – NETFLIX, I get the HYPE. It’s addictive and brilliant. A bit like a 1800’s gossip girl. Simon is a bit of a dick but is HOT STUFF.

The Crown Season 2 & 3- NETFLIX, I loved The Crown Season 1, so much juicy gossip about the ‘royals’ ha. Season 2 was ok, season 3 has been great and excited for season 4. Although I will miss Claire Foy playing the Queen.

Schitt’s Creek – NETFLIX, I’m only on season 2 but I am hooked! It’s a comedy about a well off family that goes bankrupt, but, they own a town named Schitt’s Creek, which they end up moving to as they have no where else to go. I love Moira, she’s hilarious.

Homeland – NETFLIX, I’ve watched Homeland before but forgot what series I finished watching, so I’ve started watching it from scratch again. SO good! Claire Danes is brilliant in it.

Ginny & Georgia – NETFLIX, A friend recommended watching this and I am hooked! It’s about a mother, daughter and son who moved around a lot and they’ve just settled in a new town and theres a bit of romance in it. I’m only a few episodes in but feel like I’m going to binge watch it all at the weekend.

To All The Boys: Always and Forever – NETFLIX, I needed a girly chick-lit to watch, so I chose this as it was trending. It was really cute. “Will you be mine, beginning, my middle, my end?”

The Notebook – NETFLIX, I’m a sucker for a good old romantic film and so I re-watched The Notebook for the millionth time. Followed by La La Land – NETFLIX, it always makes me cry but I love the storyline. I was getting my gosslepuff fix that day, haha.

The O.C – All 4 Player, I’m rewatching the O.C after discovering it on All 4 Player. I’m only on season 4 but I have a feeling I’m going to race through the seasons.

The Great Hack – NETFLIX, A really great documentary on Cambridge Analytica, Facebook, the BREXIT campaign and so on. It’s amazing how we are heavily influenced and how our data is being used.

Old school TOWIE – ITV be, I’ve been watching it right from season one every day at around 2pm. It’s trashy TV but I love it!

Framing Britney Spears – Youtube, I used to be such a fan of Britney when I was young. When she shaved her head and had multiple breakdowns, it’s no surprise really, with all that fame at such a young age!
The documentary is really interesting, well worth a watch.

Music

I’m quite obsessive when it comes to music, I can listen to something on repeat for hours, days or weeks. Here are some of my favourites that I’ve been loving lately:

Arlo Parks – stunning voice and album.
Olivia Dean – The Hardest Part is lovely.
BLINK 182 – old school stuff like I’m Lost Withou You.
PVRIS – Hallucinations acoustic is beaut.
We are the Ocean – old school stuff.
Charlie Simpson – all his tracks.
Olivia Rodrigo – Drivers License is gorgeous.
Bring Me The Horizon – Post Human: Survival Horror album.
Deftones – Ohms album.
Miley Cyrus – Plastic Hearts album.
John Mayer – Carry Me Away on repeat, I just LOVE his lyrics.

You just can not beat the notebook, such a classic! I recently watched the invisible man on Sky Movies and oh my gosh, so good! Also the new Gerard Butler film on Amazon Prime… the name has escaped me but I absolutely loved that, and not only because of Gerard Butler haha! Milli x – http://millidavison.co.uk/

Schitt’s Creek and Homeland are two of my favourite shows, despite being so different! I haven’t watched the Britney Spears documentary yet (or the Harry & Meghan interview yet) – I might watch those this week, while I’m snuggled up, feeling crap! I really enjoyed The Crown too x
