I love a good old take away! There’s something exciting about ordering fish and chips on a Friday, or ordering an Indian or Chinese on a Saturday. Mhmmm.
I’ve lived in Watford pretty much my whole life (I now live on the outskirts, in a little village), so I have a decent idea of where to chose from.
So, without further a do, here are the best take aways in Watford.
Bazil Pizza – if you’re looking for the best pizza in Watford, it has to be Bazil. They do the most incredible margherita pizza’s.
They have wood ovens which makes the pizzas taste amazing!
Codland Fish & Chips – up near Courtland’s Drive is the BEST fish and chips. The batter on the fish is dreamy and the chips are perfect. Dipped in curry sauce and it’s a winner!
Lahore – is a Pakistani cuisine. The food is absolutely delicious and the staff are always so friendly! Recommended by my nan and grandad and their picks are always good!
Wok Express – If you’re in the mood for Chinese I highly recommend Wok Express! The Hong Kong sweet and sour chicken is to die for!
Nanas – is a Lebanese cuisine. It’s actually really cool to sit in there, especially on the second floor where they have shisha.
The hummus and pitta bread is AMAZING! As well as the mains.
Noor Mahal – technically this take away/restaurant is just outside of Watford in a little village called Abbots Langley. But they do the most delicious Indian food! And the staff are always really friendly and welcoming when you go and collect an order. Highly highly recommend!
