The Internet Made Me Buy It: Olaplex

Almost everybody I know is raving about Olaplex. After finishing a bottle of No.3 I thought I would share my thoughts into the bloggingsphere world.

In fact I’ve just repurchased No.3 in supersize because it is THAT good!

I was recommended this brand after my hair started falling out, more on that here. No.3 strengthens the bonds of hair and repairs. I thought, ‘YES I need this in my life’! Anything to get my hair back to how it was.

I decided to buy the full kit on Look Fantastic. It costs around the 78 pound mark. This comes with No.3 100ml, No.6 100ml and No.7 30ml. I got it with 20% off with the code FB20. I hope this still works for you guys!

Olaplex claims to leave your hair feeling instantly smoother while helping to repair structural damage caused by thermal and chemical styling. Which it does exactly that! My hair feels silky smooth after one use of all three.

One thing I’ve noticed is my hair is falling out less frequently, I don’t know if that’s due to Olaplex or my supplements, but something is working people!

No.6 is a bond smoother which you slather on at the ends of your hair while it’s damp. It helps to eliminate frizz for a glossy, glass-hair finish.

No.7 is a bonding oil, the last step in your hair care routine. This can be used on damp or dry hair. This innovative oil provides highly-concentrated nourishment to help repair dry and damaged hair. The oil instantly adds a glossy shine to your tresses, helping to improve manageability by minimising frizz and flyaways.

I’ve really started to notice a difference in my hair condition, it feels a lot stronger and is well nourished. I’m tempted to try No.0 too – it’s their newest addition to the Olaplex family.

I see so many people raving about this!! Glad to hear it’s lived up to the hype though and works for you 🙂 I recently had the keratise smoothing treatment done, which lasts around 4 months if you look after it properly with products etc. It’s considerably pricier though than Olaplex, so I may have to give this a go next year and see if it works for me 🙂

    Olaplex is amazing!

A few years ago I decided to get my hair bleached from dark brown to blonde and the salon I went to recommended to mix Olaplex into the dye. I was sceptical at first as it was more expensive, but the result was fantastic! My hair was so soft and not damaged at all.

You have just reminded me that I should try Olaplex as I have also been struggling with hair loss recently.

Hope your hair gets back to normal quickly! 🙂

Thanks Alenija, I can see baby hairs growing back which is a good sign. Hopefully my hair will be back to normal within a few months. Especially my fringe.

Olaplex is great, I highly recommend it :). x
