I’m in a reflective mood and wanted to discuss my 2020 goals I set myself back in January.
I think it’s always good to reflect on your goals as you can improve and see how far you’ve come. I feel like I’ve achieved a lot of my 2020 goals already, so I may have to set myself some more next month!
So without further a do, let’s reflect!
To lose weight – get back down to a 10.
Since being unwell, I lost a shit ton of weight. I’m now a size 8 – weighing 8 stone 9, so I have achieved this goal already, even though I said I would like to be a 10. The past two weeks I have put on weight (around 7 pounds) but I’m trying to eat healthy to remain the same weight.
Reach 1000 on bloglovin.
At the start of the year I had 564 followers, I now have 734 which I’m really proud of. I think this goal is realistic and achievable and hopefully I’ll get to 1000 by the end of this year!
To be more sustainable.
I bought a reusable cup, reusable cotton pads and have been recycling more so I’ve ticked off those goals. I said I wanted to be more sustainable with clothing but it’s hard, real hard. I tend to shop on ASOS and in TOPSHOP and New Look and there’s a lot of fast fashion, but it’s just what I’m used to buying.
Go on holiday a few times.
We went to the Cotswolds, so I’ve ticked that off my bucket list! Since Covid and my operation I don’t think we will be planning to go to Orlando or Iceland this year. Instead we are going to do a bunch of UK breaks – we’ve travelled to the Lake District and Cornwall in August. We’re also going to Spain in September for a few days with family which should be lovely.
Decorate the living room.
We’ve painted the skirting boards but haven’t had the time to decorate the ceiling and walls just yet. We’ve decided on a colour for the walls though!
What are your goals for the rest of the year?

Let’s get social. Follow me on Instagram or Twitter. I’m also on Bloglovin, Pinterest and Youtube.
It is amazing that you achieve so many of your goals til now. My goal was to be happy, satisfied in my skin, enjoy in every day and I can also say that I achieve til now because I change my mindset.

You’ve done really well with your goals, despite everything that’s happened this year. My only goal for the rest of the year is to feel less shit and for my pain to do one! lol! x

Girl, you are doing just fine. At this point, I will say the greatest victory this year and the goal is to stay healthy and positive.

I’m really glad I was able to stumble upon your blog today, Zoey! These are really encouraging goals, and though realistically not everything in our list comes to life right away, it’s still really great to cross off a few. Add me on that road to 1000 list on Bloglovin!
Looking forward to reading more from you! Stay safe and healthy.
