What I’ve Been Watching & Listening To This Month

It’s been a little while hasn’t it? I’ve been feeling really uninspired and unmotivated lately, who else is finding lockdown pretty tough?

Though today I thought I’d open up the laptop and write about some tv shows/documentaries, films and music I’ve been loving this month. And, I know, I know, we’re only 9 days in to the month of June but I’ve been watching a lot!

So without further a do… let’s begin!

TV Shows / Documentries

Killing Eve. It’s back! I loved the first two series, full of drama and suspense as Eve and Villanelle (the main characters) play cat and mouse and then something big happens in the second series finale (don’t want to spoil it so being very vague!) Series 3 has been just as good too! We’ve got two more episodes to watch until it’s the finale.
If you enjoy drama spy thriller’s, you can watch Killing Eve on BBC iPlayer.

Modern Family. Joe and I needed an easy watch and we chose Modern Family. We’ve watched it all before but its still funny watching it all over again. I love Gloria and Phil, my faves.

Keeping up with the Kardashians. Another easy trashy tv show that I’ve been addicted to.
Theres only 2 seasons on Netflix and I’ve nearly binge watched it all in a couple of days. Super addictive.

Becoming. Becoming is a documentary on Michelle Obama and the release of her book. Really interesting how her life was in the white house and what she is up to now.

Trial by Media is a documentary about famous court cases that are believed to have their outcome affected by the media.
We’ve only watched the first episode but it was really insightful how powerful the media is in influencing a murder.

Films

I’ve been making the most of my Disney+ subscription and watching a lot of films on there which I thought I’d share.

The Parent Trap – the one with Lindsay Lohan in. What a classic! Brings back so many memories as a child, I would watch this all the time!

Aladdin – I watched the non animated version and really enjoyed it. I thought the characters played their roles really well. And Will Smith as the genie was brilliant.

Mulan, I loved this film when I was younger, still do. It’s a great film!

Maleficent 2: Mistress of Evil‎. I really enjoyed the first Maleficent film and also loved the second. Angelina Jolie plays Maleficent so well – she’s such a good actress.

Music

Phil Collins, yes I know – what a legend. His music is great and so damn catchy, I can feeeeel it coming in the air tonightttt.

Drake, he has a new album out called ‘Dark Lane Demo Tapes’. It’s not as good as ‘views’, but some of the songs are really catchy like Toosie Slide and Not You Too.

So that’s what I’ve been loving recently! What have you guys been listening to and watching? Let me know in the comments below.

I love those trousers, and how does your fringe still look so perfect even though we have spent three months in lockdown?! I am so jealous, I’ve resorted to cutting mine with nail scissors haha.

Modern Family is great, it’s uplifting which I guess is what we all need at this time.

Trust me my fringe is a mess right now haha! I tried cutting it and made it look awful, thankfully getting a haircut today!
