I don’t usually splash out on expensive hair care products, however, these were on offer in ASDA for £6 each, so I thought I’d give them a go. (They usually retail for around £9 each).
Maui Moisture is an American haircare brand. They have a range of vegan products for various hair types and textures using their signature blend of aloe vera juices infused with pure coconut water. They are free from sulfates, silicone, artificial colours, mineral oils, ales and sulfated surfactants.
I’ve always been a fan of coconut oil (such a versatile product), so I was extremely excited to try Maui Moisture’s Revive & Hydrate + Shea Butter Shampoo for dry, damaged hair, which is made with creamy shea butter, rich coconut oil, aloe vera juice and pure macadamia oil.
Both shampoo and conditioner had a gorgeous smell to them. You could definitely smell the coconut – which reminded me of Thailand.
The formula is a cream-white rich consistency and it cleaned and conditioned my hair beautifully. My hair felt super silky and hydrated afterwards.
Would I recommend? Yes. If you like the smell of coconuts, then you’ll love these. As well as providing great results for dry, damaged hair.
I’d really like to try out their other products – so next time I see them on offer, I’ll give them a whirl.
