The one where I review a face mask that makes you look like a smurf for ten minutes.
Lush’s ‘Don’t Look At Me‘ face mask has been around for quite some time, but I’ve only got round to trying it now… shock horror, as I’m a massive LUSH fan I know! Shame on me!
It comes in the usual black recycled tub’s as the majority of LUSH’s products, however is a little smaller at only 75g. And is £7.50 a pop! Not bad, considering they last up to 4 weeks.
If you’re not familiar with LUSH’s fresh face masks, you need to keep them in the fridge! Little bizarre I know, but these are fresh ingredients that need to be cooled so they don’t go off!
Just look at this awesome vibrant blue face mask! Lush describe ‘Don’t Look At Me‘ as “a rich, exfoliating texture filled with nourishing murumuru butter”. Packed full of zingy lemon juice to tone your complexion, Tunisian neroli to brighten and organic silken tofu to soften you up in all the right ways. Also a dash of rice syrup and grapefruit oil will have you coming back for more of my scrubby, softening skincare goodness.
Smooth a rich layer of this vibrant blue mask over the skin and allow it to sink in for 10-15 minutes before gently removing with fresh water. It leaves your skin feeling baby smooth and bright. It also smells incredible, smells of lemons – very citrusy and fresh.
Would I recommend? Absolutely. Not bad at all for £7.50 a pot.
I love how it leaves my skin feeling super soft, as well as brightening my complexion. I also enjoy the exfoliating texture when applying – scrubbing away any dead skin cells and leaving my skin so smooth.
I really want to try ‘Prince of Darkness‘ and ‘Cupcake‘ next.
